MENDEZ

Ailin Mendez is the managing partner at
Mendez Injury Firm, co-founded with her husband.

Ailin’s passion is connecting with her clients, and finding a fair resolution to each case. After nearly a decade of experience practicing law, she now focuses her practice on all kinds of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, premise liability, negligent security, product liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims.

Prior to starting her own firm, Ailin developed her skills as a litigator while working as an Assistant Public Defender. She gained significant experience managing a large caseload through every phase of the litigation process, from initial interviews with clients, through depositions, pre-trial proceedings, negotiations, and trial. She also gained hands-on experience serving as counsel to a large personal injury firm, where she defended all sorts of injury claims. Having practiced on both ends of injury claims, Ailin has a unique perspective of this intricate process and can fairly assess her clients’ options to provide adequate representation.
Cuban-born, Ailin moved to the United States when she was seven years old and grew up in Miami, Florida, where she currently resides with her husband, Heber; her son, Jacob; and their two rambunctious golden retrievers. She loves live music performances and spending time near the ocean.
Ailin completed a Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a Marco A. Vazquez Memorial Scholarship recipient, made the Dean’s List, and earned a Litigation Skills Honors I designation. While in law school, she also participated in the university’s Law Review. Ailin completed a double Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science at Florida International University.
She is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA), and the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar. She is licensed to practice in Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Ailin is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
