Heber Mendez
Heber Mendez is Mendez Injury Firm’s
Director of operations and human resources.
He handles day-to-day operational and personnel matters, and manages the business side of the practice.
Heber has significant management experience, including disaster management. During the recent Covid19 pandemic, he managed a team of over 100 individuals at various levels throughout the State of Florida, coordinating testing and vaccination sites, as well as emergency field hospitals. He also managed various teams working as part of the Bay County Hurricane Michael Emergency Response, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Hurricane Michael Emergency Response, and the Collier County Hurricane Irma Emergency Response.
Heber combines his experience in management with advanced knowledge in technology and process improvement tactics to quickly and effectively solve complex business challenges, improve efficiencies, and deliver excellent results.
He earned a Bachelor of Criminal Justice Administration from Miami Dade College, and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Disaster Management at Florida International University. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Heber loves sports, especially softball, and participates in fantasy football every season. He can’t live without Cuban coffee, which he desperately needs to chase his toddler, Jacob, and two very energetic golden retrievers.
